Mike began his career at the Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center at Ft. Detrick (Frederick, MD) using cutting-edge technologies to solve problems for the military’s medical personnel. He has more than 15 years of mobile application development experience and has been the lead developer on projects serving the entire military. Mike is professionally trained in usability with extensive experience working with user communities to develop products that directly solve their problems in an intuitive and natural way. He is passionate about software and design, and how to combine the two to create the most effective products.

From writing custom drivers for a portable x-ray machine to implementing a complex integration with an enterprise medical system, John has the technical expertise to tackle the most difficult challenges. He has spent over 27 years developing military medical related products from research tools to telemedicine systems.  He has led the development of multiple mobile, web, and enterprise applications. He is as comfortable building a mobile application as designing a back-end web service or completing a complex EHR integration. John is an expert in optimization and makes it a point of pride to ensure that the products he creates are efficient and easy to maintain.
